Please read the following terms and conditions of use carefully before using this website. All users of this site agree that access to and use of this site are subject to the following terms and conditions and other applicable law.

All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD).

All content (including images and text) on this website are the property of Closely Knit and cannot be used or reproduced without permission.

product availability

All items are generally in stock. On the occasion some cushions may be made to order where stock numbers are low. Delivery will take approximately 3-4 weeks.

shipping

Within Australia: Our prices include free shipping within Australia accept where an item from our chunky knit range is added to your order –a flat rate of $15 will be added at checkout. Chunky Knits are considered a bulky item hence the freight cost.

Free shipping for orders over $650.

International Shipping: We ship cushions to New Zealand, UK, USA, Canada and Singapore.  Freight cost will be calculated at checkout. For items other than cushions or where your country falls outside the areas stated Contact us for freight charges, as postage costs are dependent on product weight.

returns

Closely Knit will gladly exchange items that are damaged. Email us a picture of the item and we will exchange the item

Your purchased product must be returned to us in new condition – unwashed or used, tags on and in its original packaging.

Closely Knit became the stockist for the Flame Range (cushions and throws) in December 2017 which is the date all product was placed live onto the website. Although we are a stockist any purchases made through stores (online or otherwise) other than via our website are not covered by the returns policy.

Our return policy applies to all purchases made through our site including items purchased via Afterpay.

refunds

Faulty/damaged items – we will gladly provide a full refund on faulty or damaged goods only where a replacement of the same item is not in-stock. We will cover the cost of shipping the item back to our HQ and for the replacement item to be redelivered to you.

Forward a photo of the area of concern to hello@closelyknit.com.au, within 3 days of receiving the item and we will be sure to help where we can.  You will be provided with a return address via email.

Items for return must be in their original packaging and in the same condition as when it was dispatched from Closely Knit to you.

Sale items –  refunds will not be issued on sale items.

International orders – refunds are not issued on international orders made via invoices from our Paypal account hello@closelyknit.com.au.

Change of mind – we are happy to accept returns for change of mind as long as goods are in saleable condition and in original packaging.

Customers are responsible for the postage cost of the item being sent back to Closely Knit. Items must be returned used a tracking number and advise Closely Knit of the number upon dispatch from you.  We will provide a refund of any difference (less $9.95 to cover original shipping costs on cushions delivered in Australia or minus the shipping cost charged at cart for international deliveries, throws and bedcovers).

Where the replacement item is at a higher cost a PayPal invoice will be issued and the item will be dispatched on receipt of payment.

Important notes:

  1. Refunds will be granted at the price paid at checkout.
  2. Refunds will be granted less $9.95 to cover original shipping costs on all cushions delivered in Australia as well as whatever the shipping cost was charged at cart for international deliveries, throws and bedcovers.
  3. Closely Knit became the stockist for the Flame Range (cushions and throws) on 24 December 2017. Any purchases made through other stores (online or otherwise) other than via our website are not covered by the refunds policy.
  4. Afterpay may still require you to make payments while your return is being processed by our system. Please see Afterpay terms and conditions here.

sale prices

We will provide a one-time price adjustment in circumstances where a purchase is made and the price is now advertised lower than the purchase price. This price adjustment will only be made within 7 days of initial purchase.  Email us.

nature of handmade

Our handmade items are sometimes perfectly imperfect (e.g coloured threads interwoven within our handmade Moroccan Throws). These imperfections are not considered a design fault.

Merino wool is fluid, which is why they are so scrumptious however it can mean that sizes may vary slightly to those listed under the product descriptions. Size and colour variations are not considered a design fault.

Pom Poms can become loose on the cushions and are easily tied back on. Our cushions have approximately 28 pom poms and any pom poms that come off or become loose are not considered a design fault – its just inevitable and will happen with use.

Moroccan throws are handmade on wooden looms so some imperfections are also characteristic of handmade.

Your privacy is important to us. Contact information collected is only used for the purpose of processing any orders. We appreciate your information is confidential and will never be provided to parties external to Closely Knit. You are free to unsubscribe from our mailing list and you will never be added without your consent.
