About us

Australian owned and designed.

We have lived in the inner west of Sydney all our lives. For as long as I can remember I have always loved interior designing and being creative. It’s what makes me incredibly happy, creating a space to be enjoyed and lived in.

I steer towards a classic and effortless style combined with key statement pieces and the use of layering and texture to bring dimension and life to a room. I adore natural fibers as they have such a unique character.

I have had a long-standing love affair with chunky knits for a long time. More recently I launched our gorgeous Soliel cushion because I also have a thing for pom poms. So much so, I wanted to share them with you.

our wool & cotton

Wool

When we think of wool we tend to think of our favourite sweater – super refined, usually machine spun wool. Merino roving wool, which is what our throws, cushions and scarves are made from are knitted from unspun wool which gives them their luxurious and super cosy texture.

Given they are made from gorgeous unspun wool they do require a little more care however merino wool is self-cleaning. Given merino wool is self-cleaning it doesn’t hold smells or odours, as the creatine in wool helps break down any odours. Merino wool is also water repellent and antibacterial.

In the first instance air your wool product out of direct sunlight. In the event you need to spot clean, use water no warmer than 30 degrees. Do not twist or wring out any excess water and instead gently squeeze the area in a towel. Avoid rubbing. It’s best to lay flat out of direct sunlight and you can have your item dry cleaned.

Wool is a natural material, not synthetic so some pilling is considered very normal as your throw ages. This is all part of its personality and uniqueness.

Cotton

Our Soleil cushions are made from 100% cotton yarn with a microfibre filler.

Cushions are best washed by hand in cold water with a mild detergent, dry in the shade, do not tumble dry and best not stored wet.
